Inventory Aware Marketing is the process of targeting digital ads based on whether a product is available to purchase.  The availability of a product to purchase is critical to the success of the marketing campaign and the overall brand objectives.

With the evolution of e-commerce options at major retailers, inventory intelligence is more important than ever.  This challenges marketers to offer new insights and solutions that address this new reality. 

We recognized that brands wanted to maximize every ad dollar.  It doesn't make sense to spend resources sending consumers to purchase out of stock products. 

 

Out of stock inventory can also negatively effect measurement and attribution of ad campaigns.  Without an available product, no conversion can be attributed back to the marketer.
